ТУЦЫ (NEWS)

What bugs me these days. Well, my house pets - lizarsds and ants are pretty firendly, my girlfriend checks my hunter's impulses to nail them down by words of widoms, saying they are all my friends. Lizards are funny, they are sliding around on the slick floor tiles, trying to run away from me, and are generally very amicable, they are not bothering me, and I try not to as well. And they hunt mosquitoes - reportedly - so they ARE friends.

Oh, yeah, in winter I saw from time to time a 3-inch spider, he is a friend too, according to my gf, so I didn't hunt it. I don't see it any more though.

Mosquitoes are omnipresent, especially this tropical summer. They surprised me a lot when in winter - in our non-heated apartments, when I could see my breath and was dressing in a feather-stuffed overcoat - the mosquitoes were still buzzing around, as frisk as ever, the natural selection giving them a lot of power... - bugger!

Ants are little fellas - if I drop a tiny morsel of food, mango or anything - they start running and swarming around it until it's gone. Helped us clean the shell of a crab Vadim and his wife planned to take as a trophy from a restaurant - there was still a lot of unreachable meat inside, those lil' helpers did the job alright. I think they didn't bring the shell back home as a whole, but that's irrelevant now : ) Anyhow, those home pets started to get bored without useful jobs, so they are attacking my sugar bowl now (more of a sugar box with a lid) - and I keep finding a couple of them in my sugar all the time while I am trying to sweeten up my tea. I take them out with spoonfulls of sugar and throw away (such a waste, but pretty fast), but I still find those little buddies swimming the tea after I stir my tasty mix - the special meat broth may be nourishing, though not as aesthetically comely. How to keep them out of my sugar? Or should I even bother?

Another thing - my beer bottles - are growing in number like fungus.

What it looks now - I have to carefully grope around through the kitchen - a night trip to the fridge is a potential music event. Each new bottle is a small challenge to my interior design-self

I am planning to get myself a pretty sum of money for my collection, since the idea of utilizing the bottles

sucks for the reason of it uselessness. A trip to the below-shown office is not too bright an idea, with all those 200+/- bottles, and the closest place like that being maybe 10 kilometers away from campus... So does anyone need a collection of high-quality glass containers, very useful in household, may be utilized as vases for beautiful flowers (I actually did a stunning floor design of dry reed emsamble housed in beer bottles back when I lived in Hui'An)? Or very soon I might hunt down that garbage guy who from time to time passes our building...
